Favorite things about Dordt College
One of my favorite things about Dordt College is the educational framework that Dordt was built on. Dordt is here to provide students with a Christian education; not that we look to add a Bible verse at the end of our papers and presentations, but we are living and diving into Scripture every day. We look through the lens of a biblical worldview to see how we can best serve God in the field of study in which we are called. Doing this within a community of excited students and encouraging professors leads to some amazing results!
How do you spend your free time?
I like to stay active as much as possible. I enjoy running, biking, swimming, playing Frisbee golf, shooting around on the basketball court, going to baseball games (Go White Sox!), and playing catch. I also enjoy to playing guitar, piano, and leading worship at any opportunity that I am given.
Thank you so much for considering Dordt College! The four years that I spent here in Sioux Center were easily the best four years of my life so far and I wouldn't trade them for anything. The community here is so friendly and encouraging, and I can’t thank Dordt enough for the opportunities that I was given to learn and lead.
Moving on from high school is a huge step in your life, and I would love to help you figure out where God is calling you to go. I could go on and on telling you the great things about Dordt, but we would love for you to come visit campus and see the exciting things that God is doing in this community!
