Huisman Commits To Dordt Football

(Thursday, February 13; Sioux Center, Iowa) Torin Huisman, a senior at Sioux Center High School (Iowa), has announced his intention to attend Dordt College and join the Defender football program.
Huisman ran for 763 yards on 78 carries this season as Sioux Center advanced to the Class 2A State Football Playoffs. He rushed for nine touchdowns and had 14 catches for a 17.3 yards per catch average. He earned a first team all-district honors this season and was an honorable mention all-conference selection in basketball as a junior. Huisman played running back, defensive end and linebacker and is listed 5-11, 205 pounds.
Torin is the son of Dan and Gwen Klein of Sioux Center, Iowa. He plans to study Business at Dordt College.
