Favorite Things About Dordt College

One thing that truly makes Dordt a great place is the intentional Christian community. Whether you're studying to be an engineer, an educator, a biologist, or a businessman, you're going to learn how to do so from a Christian worldview. Likewise, every football player, flutist, faculty member, and support staff has a purpose on this campus: to encourage the development of each other's specific gifts, and ultimately, to utilize those gifts to bring the community's members into a more intimate relationship with Christ. As we seek to whole-heartedly serve him throughout our various activities, we form incredible personal relationships that truly are life-changing.

How Do You Spend Your Free Time?

I live an active lifestyle. When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my wife, cycling, backpacking, traveling, and doing various home improvement tasks. Other than that, I enjoy reading a thought-provoking book, discovering new music, and hanging out with friends and family.

Personal Note

I am very excited that you are considering Dordt College. As a recent graduate of Dordt, I cannot say enough about the wonderful experiences that I had as a student. I would love to help you discern whether our school is the right place for you. I would highly encourage you to visit Dordt during one of our Campus Visit Days. If you have any questions or would like to set up a visit, please do not hesitate to contact me.
