Recap from the Class of 1965 Golden Reunion, May 7-8

"In 1965, 58 graduates received diplomas as the class marked the inaugural four-year commencement at Dordt College. Fast forward 50 years and we had the privilege of gathering for the golden anniversary of this first class. Laughs, stories of pranks, soulful singing, and thanksgiving for God's faithfulness marked our time together. In all, 25 alumni came back to celebrate. What a joy!"
—Brandon Huisman, director of alumni and external relations

"The class of 1965's Golden Reunion was very special. Celebrating the first four-year graduating class with 24 classmates was wonderful. Our time spent together was truly a great time. Having a class representative in the 2015 commencement ceremony was appreciatated. The Lord has truly blessed Dordt College and celebrating this milestone in its history was important. Thank you Dordt for helping the class of 1965 celebrate and remember!"
—Katie Haan ('65), Planning Committee member
