Professor Karen De Mol joined the faculty of Dordt College in 1984. She teaches Music Theory, Form and Analysis, Music Literature, and Private Clarinet. In addition, she has been Music Department Chair since 1985.
Education and Experience:
- Ph.D. from Northwestern University in Music Theory, 1990
- M.A. from The University of Michigan, 1966
- B.A. from Calvin College, 1961
- Principal Clarinet of the Northwest Iowa Symphony Orchestra, 1987 to present
- Member of the FaireAire Quartet 1994 to present
