Ed.D. (University of South Dakota); M.Ed. (Northern Arizona University).  I came to Dordt in 1989 to work as professional counselor and then joined the psychology departmetn in 2000.  I currently teach courses in Life-Span Development, Personality Theories, Counseling Theories, Psychopathology, and Helping Skills.  I have been the men's golf coach since 2003-04 and I enjoy racquetball, camping, and walking my dogs.
