Grady To Attend Dordt College

(Wednesday, January 16; Sioux Center, Iowa)  Michael Grady, a senior at Spalding Catholic High School (Iowa), has announced his intention to attend Dordt College and join the Defender baseball program.

Grady, an outfielder and pitcher, was 7-0 on the mound last season with a 0.58 earned run average with 55 strikeouts in 60 innings of work.  He was a first-team all-district player in 2012 and was a first-team honoree by the Northwest Iowa Review.  Grady has played for Legion Post 662 and was a member of a state runner-up team.  Grady helped Spalding to a 2010 District Championship.

Michael is the son of Harvey and Barbara Grady of Granville, Iowa.  He plans to study engineering at Dordt College.
