Dordt Men No. 18 In Poll

(Wednesday, January 23; Sioux Center, Iowa)  The Dordt College Defender men’s basketball team is no. 18 in this week’s NAIA Division II Coaches’ Poll released Tuesday, January 22.

The Defenders are 17-5 this season and stand 9-4 in the GPAC and were no. 12 in last week’s poll. Dordt split its’ two games last week and are 5-2 since Christmas.  Dordt will host Morningside tonight and are on the road at Briar Cliff on Saturday, January 26.

Dordt is one of four GPAC teams in the poll with Northwestern no. 8; Doane no. 12 and Hastings no. 25.  Dordt totaled 164 points in the poll.

The coaches’ poll is voted on by 13 coaches weekly.
