Dordt College seniors show art work

April 1, 2013

The second of three senior art exhibits to be displayed during the spring semester is on display through April 14 in the Dordt College Campus Center Art Gallery.

Senior art exhibits are an opportunity for the area and college community to see the final portfolios—many produced in professional settings and on-the-job work projects—and best work of graduating art majors. The exhibit is free to the public every day from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.

BJ Ryks, a graphic design and business major from Sioux Center, Iowa, is exhibiting graphic design, graphic art prints, and paintings.

Corey Muilenburg, a graphic design major from Elkhorn, Nebraska, is displaying three thematic series: Technology, Redemption, and Consumerism.

Emily Groneck, a graphic design major from Erlanger, Kentucky, is displaying graphic art prints.

The Dordt College Department of Art and Design offers an art major in five areas of emphasis, including studio fine art, graphic design, art history, art education, and pre-architecture.
