Pastor John Lee will present Dordt College commencement address

Dordt College has selected Pastor John Lee of Bethel Christian Reformed Church of Sioux Center to give the 2013-14 commencement address on Friday, May 9, in the B.J. Haan Auditorium. With a nod to Charles Dickens, Lee’s address is titled “Great Expectations.”

Lee has a B.A. from Calvin College and an M.Div. from Calvin Theological Seminary including graduate work in Israel. He previously worked for Christian Reformed World Missions/World Relief Committee in Nicaragua. A member of the Dordt College Board of Trustees, Lee serves on various classical committees and is actively involved in CASA, a non-profit organization that partners with local immigrant communities.

Dordt College awards baccalaureate degrees including bachelor of arts, bachelor of science, bachelor of science in engineering, bachelor of science in nursing, and bachelor of social work. It also awards associate of art and master of education degrees.
