Journalism Adjunct Faculty - Fall 2013
The English Department at Dordt College seeks an adjunct faculty member to teach Introduction to Journalism and serve as advisor to The Diamond, a student newspaper. A master’s degree or commensurate experience is required, as is commitment to teaching from the perspective of the Reformed faith.

Nursing
Dordt College is seeking an individual to fill a part-time opening in the Nursing Department beginning August 2013. Responsibilities within this position include development and maintenance of clinical agreements and relationships with clinical sites. In collaboration with other nursing faculty, this individual would be responsible for student orientation, on-going oversight and evaluation of nursing students while in their clinical experiences, and assessment of clinical sites. The position includes student advising and may also include classroom teaching, depending on qualifications and experience. The position will range from 50-70% of full-time. A Master’s degree in nursing is required.

Psychology: Clinical
Dordt College is currently seeking a Psychology faculty member to teach introductory psychology and courses such as psychopathology, social, psychometrics, counseling and personality theories. In addition to teaching introductory and upper level psychology courses, the faculty member would advise students and assist in departmental activities. Ability to teach effectively and interpret psychology in light of Reformed perspective is essential. Opportunities may exist for clinical hours in the campus counseling center depending on institutional need and candidate qualifications and interest. Preference will be given to candidates with an earned doctoral degree in clinical or counseling psychology. A master’s degree is required.

A master’s degree is required.
