Director of Financial Aid
Dordt College seeks an individual to provide leadership and direction in the development and application of financial aid policies as Director of Financial Aid. The Director will work with a dedicated team to help students and families understand that a Dordt College education is affordable and valuable.
The Director will think creatively and entrepreneurially about financial aid, collaborate with other offices to maximize enrollment, retention and fund-raising efforts, maintain a working knowledge of financial aid policies and practices, ensure compliance with federal and state regulations and develop and implement a financial aid awarding strategy. Additionally, the Director will meet with parents and students and supervise the Financial Aid office staff.
A BA in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance as well as five years of progressively responsible experience in financial aid at a private college is preferred. Research, analytic, accounting and communication skills are required along with the ability to lead and plan.

Graduate Assistant Track Coach
Dordt College is currently seeking an individual to work as a Graduate Assistant coach in the track and field program. The position is a 2 year commitment with annual review. Benefits include tuition discounts for the Dordt College Master of Education Program, campus housing, an annual stipend for hours worked, and a meal card.
Jumping/Hurdle/Pole Vault Coach
Seeking an individual with jumping (long and triple)/hurdle/pole vault experience and a passion and willingness to learn technical aspects of these field events.
Duties include being responsible for the development of a training program and technical instruction for 15-20 college athletes. Hours are approximately 3-6 p.m. Monday through Friday from January 15 through May 1, with some Saturday meets included. Off-season coaching may also be available.
A bachelorís degree in Education and admission into Dordtís Master of Education program is required. Past experience coaching and/or participating in jumps/hurdles/pole vault is desired.

KDCR Station Manager & Audio Operations Leader
Dordt College is seeking an individual to lead the successful 24/7/365 operation of the college media station which currently includes audio broadcasting, with both terrestrial and web-enabled signals under the KDCR Radio banner. This highly motivated individual will be expected to provide leadership for media operations on campus, including strategic planning, content oversight, operational leadership, financial performance, and educational partnerships to support the mission of the college.
A Bachelorís degree in Broadcast Communications with a minimum of 5 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred. The position requires strong verbal and written communication skills as well as leadership skills for training and supervising student employees. Fundraising experience with complimentary public relations skills are desired.

Dordt College has a full-time opening for a Night Custodian. This will be an overnight position with work hours of 11:00 p.m. Ė 7:00 a.m.
Responsibilities of this position include maintaining and cleaning campus facilities. Duties include general maintenance and housekeeping, managing student workers to assist with daily tasks and set up needs, and arranging support equipment and seating for special events.
Qualifications include a basic knowledge of housekeeping and maintenance equipment, physical skills necessary for carrying supplies and moving equipment (up to 50 pounds), planning and scheduling skills, and verbal communication and leadership skills needed for overseeing student workers. The individual in this position must be self-motivated and have the ability to work without direct supervision.

Preschool Learning Center Office Administrator
Dordt College has a part-time opening for Office Administrator in the Preschool Learning Center. The office administrator will serve as receptionist, first contact person, and office manager. Responsibilities include maintaining all student records, preparing and distributing memos, newsletters, and all correspondence, coordinating schedules, and assisting students and parents as needed. Additional duties include planning and overseeing registration and Open House events, procuring supplies, and serving as liaison between community and preschool. The expected work hours are 4 days per week during the academic year with minimal hours during the summer months.
Qualifications include an AA degree or an equivalent combination of education, experience, and training, strong computer, organization, and office management skills along with well-developed communication and interpersonal skills. An ability to speak Spanish is desired but not required.
