Credential Files & Transcripts

Dordt College has, like many colleges and universities, moved to a "self-credentialing" policy where individuals are responsible for their own credential files. A credential file usually consists of resumes, personal statements, transcripts, recommendations, and evaluations.

Education majors are the only exception to this policy. Their files are kept at Dordt College for a period of five years after graduation. At this point, the individual will have two years to claim their file before it is disposed of confidentially. These will be sent to prospective employers upon request at (712) 722-6078 or Ellen.Mouw@dordt.edu.

All majors can request transcripts from the registrar.
