Pre-Pharmacy

Pharmacists care for patients’ drug-related needs in community pharmacies, hospitals, long-term care facilities, and home health care settings. Many pharmacy programs require two years of pre-pharmacy college courses followed by four years in a pharmacy program leading to a doctor of pharmacy degree. Some schools also require the Pharmacy College Admissions Test (PCAT) to be taken.
