PRE-PROFESSIONAL HEALTH
Pre-Pharmacy
Pharmacists care for patients’ drug-related needs in community pharmacies, hospitals, long-term care facilities, and home health care settings. Many pharmacy programs require two years of pre-pharmacy college courses followed by four years in a pharmacy program leading to a doctor of pharmacy degree. Some schools also require the Pharmacy College Admissions Test (PCAT) to be taken.
Pre-optometry advisor Dr. Darren Stoub, professor of chemistry, will work closely with you to plan your program. His email address is Darren.Stoub@dordt.edu and campus visits are welcomed.
