Scholarship Amount

Gary and Donna Doppenberg Animal Science Scholarship

The Doppenbergs fund this scholarship for students intending to major in agriculture with an emphasis in animal science and large animal nutrition. Applicants must have a 3.00 cumulative GPA.

Additional Information:
This scholarship is not automatically renewed each year, however a recipient may reapply as a continuing student each year and will be considered equally with the other continuing student applicants. Scholarship references should address the applicantís career interests in the animal science field of study. A total of 4 scholarships are available each year for incoming freshmen and/or continuing students.

This scholarship was established to encourage outstanding high school senior students to attend Dordt College for a degree in agriculture. Applicants must have a 3.00 cumulative GPA. Recipients will be chosen on the basis of academics and career goals, along with leadership potential and involvement in agricultural projects.

Hilda Ozinga Art Scholarship

This scholarship is available to give recognition and encouragement to students majoring in the visual arts. Applicants must have a 2.50 cumulative GPA and must submit a visual arts portfolio as specified by the Dordt College art department faculty.

Renewable for an additional three consecutive years provided the recipient maintains a 2.50 cumulative GPA continues to major in the visual arts and is endorsed by the art department faculty each year.
