Dordt Discovery Days will be an extreme adventure

March 7, 2013

Parents, are you looking for a fun academic summer camp for your junior high or middle school students? Students, are you looking for a week of learning and adventure? Dordt Discovery Days (DDD) is your destination.

DDD is an annual five-day camp running from June 24 to 28, 2013, for students who have completed sixth, seventh, or eighth grade. With more than 40 classes in the arts, sciences, music, and recreation, there are options to fit every interest.
This year’s classes include Stained Glass Art Gallery, Who Needs the Drama?, Dance! Dance! Dance!, Garage Band, War and Soldiering, Down on the Farm, Geek Squad, and more.

In addition to their courses, students participate in group activities such as daily devotions, swimming, friendly competitions, and maybe even a “bigger and better” scavenger hunt through Sioux Center.

Residential, commuter, and day camper options are available. Registration opens March 15, at 9 p.m. sharp at www.dordt.edu/events/ddd. Registrations for classes are first come, first served. Class sizes are limited and can fill very quickly. Contact Dianne De Wit at (712) 722-6029 with questions.
