Clock Tower

Standing 54-feet high, the clock tower is a beautiful centerpiece on Dordt College’s campus just outside the Campus Center building. The tower serenades the Dordt community with songs before chapel and during the lunch hour. It holds a repertoire of hundreds of songs, including familiar hymns, liturgical songs, and familiar classical pieces that are played for special holidays like Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter.

The clock tower was funded entirely by the generous financial donations of friends of Dordt College. Henry and Helen Van Klaveren of Modesto, Calif., are among the major contributors to this project.
