Mia Kornelis to present “Plaza Suite” at Dordt College

Dordt College senior Mia Kornelis of Sioux Center, Iowa, will present her senior theater production, Plaza Suite. The show will be performed November 15, 16, and 17, at 7:30 p.m. in the New World Theatre on the campus of Dordt College.

Plaza Suite is a three-act comedy by Neil Simon. The setting is 1967 in a suite within New York City’s Plaza Hotel. The light-hearted show looks at the complexity of married life and its relationship dynamics. 

“I am really enjoying directing and coordinating with set design, sound design, actors, the graphic designer, everyone,” said Kornelis who is majoring in music. “It’s exciting to have a hand in all the decisions and to guide the whole process, and I am thrilled about the final product.”

Tickets to this witty, slapstick comedy can be purchased at the door.
