New York Times bestselling author to speak at Dordt College

Historian
and New York Times bestselling author of One Second After, Dr. William Forstchen, will speak at Dordt College on Wednesday, November 28.
He will address the role that historical fiction can play in the teaching of history. The public is invited to attend his presentation, “The Historian, Historical Fiction, and the New York Times: Can They Meet in the Academy?” to be held at 8 p.m. in the Dordt College Ribbens Academic Complex room 1144 and 1148.
Forstchen is a faculty fellow at Montreat College in Montreat, North Carolina. He has published more than 40 books on topics related to history, historical fiction, and science fiction.
The presentation is sponsored by the Dordt College history and English departments with assistance from the Co-Curricular Committee.
