Women's Soccer Adds Bloemhof

Ashley Bloemhof, a senior at Ripon Christian High School, has announced her intention to attend Dordt College and join the Defender women's soccer program.

Bloemhof is 5'6" and has played multiple positions for the Ripon Christian Knights but has primarily served the squad as a sweeper, having also served as a forward and outside back. Bloemhof had 4 goals and an assist last season and tallied 3 times during her sophomore year.  In 2012, Bloemhof was a Southern Athletic League All-League Player Award recipient and was named to the Southern Athletic League All-Conference team.  A four year varsity player, Bloemhof has helped the Knights to two Big Valley Lady Lions Soccer Classic Tournament championships.

Ashley is the daughter of Tim and Connie Bloemhof of Ripon, California and she plans to major in Pre-Physical Therapy.
