Lewis To Run At Dordt College

(Wednesday, January 23; Sioux Center, Iowa)  Kelsey Lewis, a senior at Alpena High School (Michigan), has announced her intention to attend Dordt College and join the Defender track and cross country programs.

Lewis has personal bests of 1:02 in the 400 meters, 2:19 in the 800 meters; 5:28 in the 1600 and 19:33 in the 5,000 meters.  She has been an all-conference selection in track and field three times and earned academic all-state accolades for track and field in 2012.  Lewis is a four-year varsity runner in cross country and earned all-conference honors in 2012.

Kelsey is the daughter of Steve and Laura Lewis of Alpena, Michigan.  She plans to study animal science at Dordt College.
