Fall 2015 Adjunct - Criminal Law

The Criminal Justice Department at Dordt College seeks an adjunct faculty member to teach an introductory course on the basic concepts of criminal law focusing on a study of what constitutes particular crimes, both in the common law and by statue, including certain defenses. A Juris Doctorate (J.D.) is required, as is commitment to teaching from the perspective of the Reformed faith. Preference will be given to those with college teaching experience.

The English Department at Dordt College seeks an adjunct faculty member to teach English Composition during the Fall 2015 semester. Primary responsibilities include teaching introductory writing courses. A masterís degree is required, as is commitment to teaching from the perspective of the Reformed faith.

Head Womenís & Menís Cross Country Coach and HHP Instructor

Dordt College seeks an individual to provide leadership in the planning, organizing, and coaching of the menís and womenís cross country teams, and to serve as an instructor in the Health and Human Performance Department.

The individual will coach all facets of the menís and womenís programs including competitions, practices, scheduling, and organizing camps. Along with teaching responsibilities within the HHP department, this individual will also serve as the Assistant Coach for the Menís and Womenís Track teams.

A MA is required with a minimum of 3 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education, experience, and training. Demonstrated successful coaching experience at the high school or preferably collegiate level is required along with leadership, communication, influencing, and planning skills.
