Coaching Staff
Craig Steimsma
Varsity Head Coach
Craig Stiemsma started coaching the Dordt women's team in 2007-2008 and has a 25-34 record in two seasons. The Defenders have won a GPAC playoff game both years Stiemsma has coached.
Prior to his women's basketball appointment, Stiemsma coached the Dordt College men's soccer team to a 38-36-1 record in four years and two berths in the NAIA regional tournaments.
Alyssa Van't Hul
Varsity Assistant Coach
Assists the Dordt College women's varsity team and serves as the junior varsity coach. Van't Hul graduated from Dordt in 2000 and currently teaches physical education at Rock Valley Christian School. Van't Hul is in her third season assisting the basketball team.
Terry Beimers
Varsity Assistant Coach
Has been on the Dordt College bench as an assistant since the 2002-2003 season. Beimers has coached a variety of sports at Unity Christian High School, where he teaches history, including track and field, football, soccer and softball.
