Financial Aid Details

Additional Unsubsidized Stafford Loans

Amount: Up to $5,000

Available to U.S. students who have used the maximum amount their grade level allows under other Stafford programs. Applications are available from the financial aid office or your lending institution.

Interest begins accumulating as soon as the money is disbursed. Repayment begins 60 days after disbursement unless deferred.

Entrance Counseling

All new students who are eligible for a Federal Stafford Loan (even those who do not plan to take it) are required to complete an entrance counseling session. This session will ensure that you understand your responsibilities as a student loan borrower and is required in order to receive the money for your Stafford Loan.
