Dr. James F. Mahaffy joined the biology staff in 1979. His professional studies were done at Dordt College and the University of Illinois. He has experience in high school teaching. Dr. Mahaffy also serves the general education program at Dordt College. His academic interests are in zoology, paleontology, and phycology (algae).
