Stroll through Dordt's Prairie

The
community is invited to attend a Prairie Walk through the Dordt College Prairie on Wednesday, September 12, a date that coincides with Prairie Heritage Week in Iowa. The tour will begin at 7 p.m. in the parking lot behind the college Campus Center. Dr. Robb De Haan will identify conspicuous prairie plants and describe recent prairie management activities. Dr. Chris Goedhart will talk about prairie insects, and catch and identify several common species for the group.
