Explore the backroads and byways of America

KDCR presents the travelogue “Backroads and Byways of America” on Wednesday, September 26, at 7:30 p.m. in the B.J. Haan Auditorium.

The journey begins in Washington State and ends in Boston, Massachusetts. Along the way, viewers will visit scenic and historic places, listen to the stories of Mercer’s maidens and of the strange journey of Willie Kiel, visit the Redwoods of California, and see the effects of Mount St. Helens.

The photographic adventure is led by Don and Fran Van Polen, known for their landscape photography, humor, and storytelling. They’ll invite the audience to join in singing some of America’s heart-warming music.

Tickets are purchased at the door, and cost $5 for adults and $3.50 for students.
