Dordt Volleyball Taking Votes In Poll

(Tuesday, October 9; Sioux Center, Iowa)  The Dordt College Defender volleyball team was in the receiving votes category of the sixth edition of the Tachikara-NAIA Volleyball Coaches’ Top 25 Poll released Tuesday, October 9.

The Defenders are 17-4 this season and 7-1 in the Great Plains Athletic Conference after five set wins over Morningside and no. 23 Midland last week.  The Defenders are scheduled to host Briar Cliff on Tuesday night before meeting no. 3 Columbia on Friday, October 12.  Dordt will face no. 19 Viterbo and no. 24 Taylor on Saturday.  The weekend matches are at a tournament hosted by Bellevue (Nebraska).

Dordt totaled 82 points in the voting done by 23 NAIA coaches across the country.
