Softball Adds Pierce

(Friday, December 7; Sioux Center, Iowa)  Andrea Pierce, a senior at Northglenn High School (Colorado), has announced her intention to attend Dordt College and join the Defender softball program.

Pierce, a shortstop, has a career batting average of .552 and an on base percentage of .649 with 22 stolen bases.  She earned 2012 All-State honors in Class 5A and was a three-time all-conference honoree.

Andrea is the daughter of Tony and Briana Pierce of Northglenn, Colorado.  She plans to study biomedical engineering.
