Dordt Basketball No. 13 In Poll

(Thursday, December 13; Sioux Center, Iowa) The Dordt College Defender men’s basketball team is no. 13 in the most recent NAIA Division II Men’s Basketball Poll released late Tuesday, December 11.

The Defenders fell from their no. 7 spot after splitting a pair of games the week before.  Dordt College is currently 10-3 overall and 4-3 in the GPAC after a road win over Morningside on Wednesday night, December 12.

The Defenders will face Briar Cliff on Saturday, December 15 in their final game before the Christmas break.  Briar Cliff is receiving votes in the most recent poll.   Dordt totaled 196 points in the poll which is the third polling of the season conducted by 13 coaches across the country.

Cardinal Stritch (Wisconsin) is the no. 1 team in the country and GPAC members Doane (no. 8) and Northwestern (no. 10) are also in the poll.
