Cross Country and Track Add Weinert

(Tuesday, March 19; Sioux Center, Iowa)  Hunter Weinert, a senior at Lynden Christian High School (Washington), has announced his intention to attend Dordt College and join the Defender cross country and track programs.

Weinert has a personal best of 16:42 on a 5,000 meter cross country course and earned all-county honorable mention in 2012.  He was a member of a tri-district champion in 2011.

Hunter is the son of Jim and Kara Weinert of Lynden, Washington.  He plans to study accounting and finance at Dordt College.
