April 26, 2013

You’ve seen it done in Lord of the Rings, and now you can see it done live on Monday, April 29, when Patrick Luber will hold presentations demonstrating bronze casting, a unique process that involves pouring molten metal into molds. Luber is a professor of art from the University of North Dakota.

Presentations will be in the Ribbens Academic Complex. The first will be at 11 a.m. in the Drawing Studio room CL 1123 where Luber will present some of his work and talk about his techniques and approach to sculpture. The second will be from 2 to 4 p.m. in the Sculpture Studio room CL 1217 where he will demonstrate bronze casting.
