Men's Cross Country No. 23 This Week

(Wednesday, October 30; Sioux Center, Iowa)  The Dordt College Defender men’s cross country team advanced one spot in the NAIA Top-25 Coaches’ Poll released on Wednesday, October 30 and is now no. 23 in the weekly balloting.

The Defenders, who finished third at the Mount Marty Invite last week, took 166 points in the voting done by 22 coaches across the country.  Dordt finished behind no. 16 Concordia and no. 19 Dickinson State at the race in Yankton, South Dakota.  Biola (California) is one spot in front of the Defenders with 188 points.  St. Francis (Illinois) is the top vote getter in this week’s polling and took 18 first place votes.

Dordt is off this week before running in the GPAC Championship race in Seward, Nebraska on Saturday, November 9.
