Dordt College named Best College for Military Veterans

Dordt College has been named the top college in the Midwest in the U.S. News & World Report’s Best Colleges for Military Veterans ranking. Several Iowa colleges are listed, including Northwestern College, which is tied with Dordt. The colleges on the list participate in federal initiatives that help veterans and active service members apply, pay for, and complete their degrees.

The rankings include schools that belong to an institution that is a member of the Servicemembers Opportunity College (SOC) Consortium, are certified for the G.I. Bill, and are participating in the Yellow Ribbon Program. U.S. News & World Report ranked qualifying schools in order based on their 2014 Best College ranking, of which Dordt tied for sixth place in the Midwest.

Dordt College has been ranked on the U.S. News & World Report Survey for 22 years and has been a top-10 college 11 times. Dordt has also been recognized as a top regional college by, The Princeton Review, and Washington Monthly.
