POOP-Natural Dairy Compost is a finalist in Small Business Big Game Competition
November 15, 2013
“A few guys and a dream about POOP” is what the owners of POOP-Natural Dairy Compost say about the creation of their small business. From almost 15,000 entries, Intuit selected POOP-Natural Dairy Compost as one of four finalists in their Small Business Big Game Competition.
The Idaho-based company—started by Dordt College alumni Glenn Vander Woude (’99), Scott Den Hartog (’02), and Ben Bieri (’02)—is competing for the ultimate prize: a 30-second custom television advertisement that will air during football’s biggest game on February 2, 2014. Now through December 1, people can vote for their favorite final-four ads by visiting www.smallbusinessbiggame.com.
Finalists will receive a trip to the Big Game, a professionally produced television commercial, a meeting with entrepreneur and reality star Bill Rancic, and free, lifetime use of Intuit small business solutions.
Intuit says the competition is designed to show the importance of small businesses and celebrates their success on the world stage.
POOP-Natural Dairy Compost produces natural and odorless composted dairy manure for lawns, gardens, and flowerbeds. Find more at www.dairypoop.com.
