Dordt Baseball Adds Randall

(Wednesday, January 15; Sioux Center, Iowa)  Andrew Randall,  a senior at Elkhorn High School (Nebraska), has announced his intention to attend Dordt College and join the Defender baseball program.

Randall, a middle infielder and pitcher, batted .346 last season with a .469 on base percentage.  He posted 4-0 pitching record with a 4.23 earned run average and helped his team to a district runner-up finish in 2013 and a state runner-up finish in 2012.  A multi-sport athlete, Randall also was an all-state tennis player and was the state runner-up in singles play in 2013.

Andrew is the son of John and Cindy Randall of Elkhorn, Nebraska.  He intends to study Engineering at Dordt College.

Dordt College in Sioux Center, Iowa, is a comprehensive Christian college rooted in the Reformed tradition. Dordt’s athletic program is a part of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) and the Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC). 

U.S. News & World Report,, Washington Monthly, and Princeton Review all list Dordt on their best colleges lists. Dordt is home to approximately 1,400 students.
