Ganz Signs On With Defender Men's Soccer

Logan Ganz, a senior at Central Wisconsin Christian, has announced his intention to attend Dordt College and join the Defender men's soccer program.

Ganz is a 6'2", 180 pound goalkeeper for the Crusaders and has twice been named a Wisconsin Flyway All-Conference keeper as he was selected to the first team in 2012 and the second team in 2013.  Ganz has been the starting keeper for the Crusaders each of the last two seasons.

Ganz served as a team captain in 2013 and helped Central Wisconsin Christian to Regional Championships in 2012 and 2013 and to the Flyway Conference titles in 2012 and 2013 as well.  Ganz has played in 47 games with a career goals against average of .99  and the senior keeper gave up just 22 goals in 2013 while making 75 saves.

Ganz also played two seasons of club soccer with the Fond du Lac Phoenix.

Logan is the son of Bill and Sheryl Ganz of Waupun, Wisconsin and he plans to major in Business Administration/Accounting at Dordt College.

Dordt College in Sioux Center, Iowa, is a comprehensive Christian college rooted in the Reformed tradition. Dordt’s athletic program is a part of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) and the Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC).

U.S. News & World Report,, Washington Monthly, and Princeton Review all list Dordt on their best colleges lists. Dordt is home to approximately 1,400 students.
