Litwiller To Attend Dordt College

(Monday, January 27; Sioux Center, Iowa) Jacayla Litwiller, a senior at Iowa Mennonite School has announced her intention to attend Dordt College and join the Defender softball program.

Litwiller batted .264 last season with 12 doubles, ten runs batted in and nine runs scored.  Litwiller is a catcher and threw nine runners out stealing in 25 games played.  She’s earned four letters at Iowa Mennonite and earned honorable mention all-conference honors last season.

Jacayla is the daughter of Jon and Becky Litwiller of Washington, Iowa.  She plans to study Elementary Education will pursing a reading endorsement and coaching certification.

Dordt College in Sioux Center, Iowa, is a comprehensive Christian college rooted in the Reformed tradition. Dordt’s athletic program is a part of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) and the Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC).

U.S. News & World Report,, Washington Monthly, and Princeton Review all list Dordt on their best colleges lists. Dordt is home to approximately 1,400 students.
