Dordt Men's Soccer Adds Regnerus

Jared Regnerus, a senior at Central Wisconsin Christian, has announced his intention to attend Dordt College and join the Defender men’s soccer program.

Regnerus, a 6’4”, 170 pound forward for the Crusaders was named to the Wisconsin Flyway All-Conference Second Team in 2012 and 2013 and was an honorable mention selection in 2011.  Regnerus served as a team captain in 2013 and received the Coaches’ Award in 2013 and the Sportsmanship Award in 2012.  He is an honors student and a member of the National Honor Society.

Regnerus has 30 goals and 29 assists as a three-year starter starter and letter winner for the Crusaders and had his best season in 2013 tallying 12 goals while adding 14 assists.

Regnerus helped the Crusaders to regional championships in 2011, 2012 and 2013 and a sectional championship and state qualification in 2011.  In 2012 and 2013, Regnerus helped CWC to back to back Flyway Conference Championships.

Jared is the son of Dave and Amy Regnerus of Fox Lake, Wisconsin and he plans to major in Business at Dordt College.

Dordt College in Sioux Center, Iowa, is a comprehensive Christian college rooted in the Reformed tradition. Dordt’s athletic program is a part of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) and the Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC).

U.S. News & World Report,, Washington Monthly, and Princeton Review all list Dordt on their best colleges lists. Dordt is home to approximately 1,400 students.
