Breon To Run Track For Defenders

(Friday, February 21; Sioux Center, Iowa)  Leah Breon, a senior at Pella Christian High School (Iowa), has announced her intention to attend Dordt College and join the Defender track and field program.

Breon has qualified for the Drake Relays twice during her career and is a three-time state qualifier.  She’s run at the 2011, 2012 and 2013 Iowa High School State Track and Field Meet in the 4 x 100, 4 x 200 and sprint medley relays.  She has a personal best of :12.82 in the 100 meters.

Leah is the daughter of Tim and Shannon Breon of Oskaloosa, Iowa.  She plans to study Biology at Dordt College.

Dordt College in Sioux Center, Iowa, is a comprehensive Christian college rooted in the Reformed tradition. Dordt’s athletic program is a part of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) and the Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC). 

U.S. News & World Report,, Washington Monthly, and Princeton Review all list Dordt on their best colleges lists. Dordt is home to approximately 1,400 students.
