Dordt Football Signs Boswell

(Friday, February 21; Sioux Center, Iowa)  Colton Boswell, a senior at Van Meter High School (Iowa), has announced his intention to attend Dordt College and join the Defender football program.

Boswell earned Dallas County Honorable Mention this past season and was a part of a pair of district titles in 2012 and 2013.  He helped Van Meter to a berth in the state playoff semifinals in 2013.  He’s listed as 6-1, 230 pounds and has played offensive and defensive line positions and middle linebacker.

Colton is the son of Chris and Leann Boswell of Van Meter, Iowa.  He plans to study Mechanical Engineering at Dordt College.

Dordt College in Sioux Center, Iowa, is a comprehensive Christian college rooted in the Reformed tradition. Dordt’s athletic program is a part of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) and the Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC). 

U.S. News & World Report,, Washington Monthly, and Princeton Review all list Dordt on their best colleges lists. Dordt is home to approximately 1,400 students.
