Meyer Added To Dordt Track and Football

(Friday, February 28; Sioux Center, Iowa)  Aaron Meyer, a senior at Hampton-Dumont High School (Iowa), has announced his intention to attend Dordt College and join the Defender football and track programs.

Meyer has personal bests in track of :24 in the 200 meters, :11 in the  100 meters and 2:08 in the 800.  He played wide receiver and defensive back in football and earned academic all-district honors and helped Hampton Dumont to a playoff appearance in 2013.  He’s 5-11, 142 pounds.

Aaron is the son of Brad Meyer and Micah Meyer.  He plans to study social work at Dordt College.

Dordt College in Sioux Center, Iowa, is a comprehensive Christian college rooted in the Reformed tradition. Dordt’s athletic program is a part of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) and the Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC). 

U.S. News & World Report,, Washington Monthly, and Princeton Review all list Dordt on their best colleges lists. Dordt is home to approximately 1,400 students.
