Knochenmus Added To Dordt Women's Soccer

Kim Knochenmus, a senior at Brandon Valley High School, recently announced her intention to attend Dordt College and join the Defender women's soccer program.

Knochenmus is a 5'8" midfielder and forward for Brandon Valley H.S. and helped the Lynx to a sixth place finish in the 2012 South Dakota State Soccer Association tournament.  Knochenmus was also the recipient of 2012 Team Leadership Award for Brandon Valley.

Knochenmus has also played four years of club soccer for the Dakota Alliance Soccer Club in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

Kim is the daughter of Scott and Jayne Knochenmus of Sioux Falls, South Dakota and she plans to study Graphic Design at Dordt College.

Dordt College in Sioux Center, Iowa, is a comprehensive Christian college rooted in the Reformed tradition. Dordt’s athletic program is a part of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) and the Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC).

U.S. News & World Report,, Washington Monthly, and Princeton Review all list Dordt on their best colleges lists. Dordt is home to approximately 1,400 students.
