Jones To Attend Dordt College

(Friday, March 7; Sioux Center, Iowa)  Cobi Jones, a senior at Front Range Christian High School (Colorado), has announced his intention to attend Dordt College and join the Defender baseball program.

Cobi batted .348 last season and had an on base percentage of .538.  During his career Cobi has scored 32 runs with 27 hits and 23 runs batted in.  Jones was a first-team all-conference pick in 2013 and he’s played shortstop and pitcher for Front Range Christian. 

Cobi is the son of Mark and Kim Jones of Littleton, Colorado.  He plans to study Engineering at Dordt College.

Dordt College in Sioux Center, Iowa, is a comprehensive Christian college rooted in the Reformed tradition. Dordt’s athletic program is a part of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) and the Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC). 

U.S. News & World Report,, Washington Monthly, and Princeton Review all list Dordt on their best colleges lists. Dordt is home to approximately 1,400 students.
