Mouw To Attend Dordt College

(Monday, March 10; Sioux Center, Iowa)  Raquelle Mouw, a senior at Bishop Kelly High School (Idaho), has announced her intention to attend Dordt College and join the Defender basketball and track programs.

Mouw earned basketball all-state honors in 2013 and claimed second team all-league honors in 2014.  She’s been selected to play in the Idaho Senior High School All-Star Basketball game and helped Bishop Kelly to a 2013 state basketball title. Mouw is a 5-7 wing player.

Mouw was a part of state champion relay teams in the 4 x 100, 4 x 200 and medley in 2011 and ran on a state runner-up 4 x 400 relay team in 2013.  She has personal bests of 17-2 in the long jump and 36-4 in the triple jump and placed third in both events at the state meet in 2013.

A multi-sport athlete, Mouw was a part of a 2012 soccer state title, a 2011 track state team title and a 2013 state title in basketball.

Raquelle is the daughter of Rocky and Ruth-Ann Mouw of Meridian, Idaho.  She plans to study education and art at Dordt College.
