Caffee To Attend Dordt College

(Monday, April 14; Sioux Center, Iowa) Xavier Caffee, a senior at Lancaster High School (Texas), has announced his intention to attend Dordt College and join the Defender football and track programs.

Caffee was a part of a team in 2012 that earned district, bi-district, area and regional titles and was the state runner-up.  He claimed district and area titles in the 200 meters in 2013 and has a person best of :21.84 in that event.  Caffee also has been on the honor roll in four years.  He’s listed as a 5-9, 170 pound wide receiver and kick returner in football.

Xavier is the son of Lester and Marie Elliott of Lancaster, Texas.  He plans to study business and accounting at Dordt College.

Dordt College in Sioux Center, Iowa, is a comprehensive Christian college rooted in the Reformed tradition. Dordt’s athletic program is a part of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) and the Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC). 

U.S. News & World Report,, Washington Monthly, and Princeton Review all list Dordt on their best colleges lists. Dordt is home to approximately 1,400 students.
