Brown To Play Football At Dordt

(Thursday, April 24; Sioux Center, Iowa)  Daniel Brown, a senior at Aurora Christian (Illinois), has announced his intention to attend Dordt College and join the Defender football program.

Brown, a 6-0, 205 pound linebacker, helped Aurora Christian to a state championship in 2011 and 2012 and a state semifinal berth in 2013.  He totaled 81 tackles in 2013 and had 15 tackles for loss with two interceptions.

Daniel is the son of Tom and Crystal Brown of Big Rock, Illinois.  He plans to study agriculture at Dordt College.

Dordt College in Sioux Center, Iowa, is a comprehensive Christian college rooted in the Reformed tradition. Dordt’s athletic program is a part of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) and the Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC).

U.S. News & World Report,, Washington Monthly, and Princeton Review all list Dordt on their best colleges lists. Dordt is home to approximately 1,400 students.
