What former participants are saying:
"DCSIMS taught me many things about career choices in mathematics I wasn't aware of. They did this through hands-on learning with great professors and other students my age. This made it a very fun, knowledgeable atmosphere. I also have to say that it was the most exciting, real-life college visit I have been on. I don't think I'll ever regret it because of the people I met and the things I learned. If you're cool enough to attend math camp, I recommend DCSIMS 100 percent." Madigan M.
"DCSIMS provides an exciting look into the world of mathematics. Learning more about statistics and finance was especially beneficial for me. The lessons are interesting and fun, and spending time with new friends during various activities was an added bonus!" Jordan H.
"DCSIMS was a wonderful opportunity to discover what types of jobs could be attained with a math degree. It made me see math in a different perspective; seeing how statistics are used in business and science and not just in a classroom. It got me interested in digging further into actuarial science, too. Not to mention, I met a lot of wonderful new friends from all over the country! The instructors made our time together so enjoyable." Nathan M.
