Dordt College has a full-time opening for a Database Administrator (DBA). The DBA will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining the operations of the campus information system.
Responsibilities include database programming and maintenance, administering various Linux systems, VMware cluster, and other related systems, and providing technical support for end users.
Related training, education or experience is required. A working knowledge of HTML, Java, PHP or Perl, SQL, Apache, Linux, VMware and Windows is required. Research skills and the ability to understand functional business areas when designing programs for end users are also required.

Executive Assistant to the Vice President for College Advancement
Dordt College is seeking a professional, self-starter who will serve as the Executive Assistant to the Vice President for College Advancement. This individual will be responsible for managing and providing diversified administrative and executive secretarial duties for the efficient operation of the Advancement Office. Responsibilities will include managing schedules and travel arrangements, analyzing and monitoring internal processes, preparing operational reports, monitoring department budgets and expenditures, and representing the VPCA in communications with a variety of individuals on and off-campus in both written and verbal communications.
An AA or BA degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a comparable position, or an equivalent combination of education, experience, and training is required. A Bachelorís Degree is preferred. Candidates should have strong computer skills including word processing, the ability to use spreadsheets, and familiarity with e-mail and database records. Effective oral and written communication skills are essential, as well as the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships and represent Dordt College in a pleasant and professional manner. Head Soccer Coach
Dordt College has an opening for a Head Soccer Coach. Dependent on the needs of the college and the related experience of the individual hired, this position may be full or part-time. The primary purpose of this position is to lead the development and growth of the menís soccer program at Dordt College and bring knowledge and passion of the game of soccer to students, with a commitment to excellence and bringing Glory to God.
If full-time, this individual would have some additional duties assisting the Sports Information Director or other areas within the Athletic Department.
