How Do I Apply?

  1. Complete the application for admission to Dordt College. Don't forget to include a copy of your high school transcript.

  2. Complete all Dordt College scholarship applications and send them to us by January 15. Scholarship applications are available by contacting the scholarships coordinator, your admissions counselor, or your high school guidance counselor. They are also available and can be printed from our website.

  3. If you are a U.S. citizen, complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). This form can be obtained from your high school counselor or from the Dordt College financial aid office and may be submitted after January 1. Other ways to obtain a paper FAFSA include calling 1-800-4FED-AID and requesting a form, or printing a PDF version of the FAFSA from www.fafsa.ed.gov.

If you wish to apply online, you may do so at www.fafsa.ed.gov. Remember, after applying online you and your parents must sign the form either by submitting a hardcopy signature or signing the form electronically.

  4. If you are a U.S. citizen, you must also complete the Dordt College Supplemental Data Form. And if you're interested in working on campus, you'll need to fill out the Application for Employment Form. These forms should be completed by April 1.

  5. If you are a Canadian citizen, you must complete the Dordt College Canadian Financial Aid Form. Canadian students who wish to work must also complete the Application for Employment Form. These forms should be completed by April 1.

  6. You will receive notification of scholarship awards by March 1. A complete summary of all federal, state, and college financial aid will be sent to you after we have received your financial information and the Dordt College Supplemental Data Form. To be included in the initial round of awards, you must get this information to Dordt by April 1. Later awards will be made to eligible applicants on a first-come-first-served basis as funds are available.
